About us
“Poverty Aid for Cambodia” is a group of friends and supporters who join forces in raising money and resources to help Cambodians who are living in extreme poverty. We share a sense of global responsibility and strongly believe that together and bit by bit, we can make a big difference. PA4C is unique because it delivers every cent to the children, their school or their families. The organisation is a totally voluntary organisation. The PA4C members and supporters of the organisation, perform their duties without salaries and other expense claims for any administrative costs in Australia.
Missions
“Poverty Aid 4 Cambodia” is a testimony to our beliefs. Since its inception in November 2007, “Poverty Aid 4 Cambodia” has built 80 of wells in different provinces. As well as building wells, “Poverty Aid 4 Cambodia” has distributed mosquito nets, blankets, sarongs, Khmer scarves (Kroma), hundreds of kilograms of mixed seeds, rices and dried fish, clothes, first-aid assistance for the blind family and elderly people, bicycles for students of poor families in needs, rebuilt some houses and hundreds of fruit trees. PA4C highlights that individual needs are best met through long term and sustainable community development programs.
 
Purposes
“Poverty Aid 4 Cambodia” is based in Cabramatta, Sydney, Australia and is co-ordinated by Dr. Rinna Ly. Rinna is provided with assistance by his many supporters which include many Khmer settlers who now reside in Australia. The purpose of “Poverty Aid 4 Cambodia” is to identify areas of extreme poverty in Cambodia and to seek assistance and help from those of us who reside here and wish to make a difference.
Objectives
The major objective of “Poverty Aid 4 Cambodia” is to make a difference in areas of extreme poverty. You are very welcome to join us in our efforts to break the cycle of poverty. We know we can not change the world but now we are proving that, with a little effort, we can change a little corner of it. It is to address the causes of poverty and to help less fortunate and disadvantaged families to become self-sufficient in their villages.
